Balgat Mixed Use

In designing this mixed-use complex, my primary goal was to establish a symbiotic relationship between work, life, and leisure within a cohesive urban block. I articulated the massing into distinct volumes—combining large-span office floors with a separate residential tower—connected by a permeable ground plane dedicated to retail and public flow. The façade treats the building skin as a rhythmic grid, balancing transparency with structural definition. To respect the existing urban grain, I focused on creating open plazas and green corridors that soften the density and integrate the development into the wider neighborhood fabric
